I'm an American getting her Master's Degree in Japan in Japanese Art History. I am also a new-found makeup and skincare junkie. I love all sorts of makeup review channels on Youtube, Blogger, and Tumblr, but unfortunately all the products they mention are only sold in the West. Since I've been loving all the products here in Japan, I thought I would make a blog to review what's available here, for expats living abroad or those living at home who might be interested.
I also have access to many South Korean products here in Japan, and I will travel to Seoul this year. I want to try it all! :)
I am caucasian and have olive undertones to my skin. I have combination skin that's oily in the T-Zone and suffer from hormonal and stress-induced acne. Being in grad school means the latter is a big problem! My skin has also been changing here because the city I live in has terrible water. Moving here has been a huge adjustment, and learning how to take care of my skin is a big learning curve as well.
